Ayurvedic Wisdom ~ ‘Laughter cleanses the blood’

Ancient Greek Wisdom ‘Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food’

I first qualified as an Aromatherapy Massage Therapist 18 years ago, and since then I have continued to study and practice a range of Naturopathic Therapies including Thai Traditional Massage, and Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy, which now forms the core of my clinical practice.

Having lived and worked in South East Asia for 8 years during this time, I was fortunate to work alongside several Ayurvedic doctors, as well as being successfully treated myself for IBS, asthma, and hormonal imbalances through nutritional and herbal medicine. I returned to The UK in 2009 inspired and passionate to train as a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist to support the health and wellbeing of others in the same way.

I am a Member of the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners and am both qualified and happy to support patients in conjunction with any treatment currently in place within the general healthcare system.

I currently live in Cumbria and practice from Cumbria Therapies Carlisle, North Lakes Clinic, Cockermouth and The Health Barn at Askham, Penrith.

Services Offered

Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional Therapy is a clinical practice providing bespoke nutritional advice with a personalised nutritional plan tailored to support not only general health, but which specifically supports whatever chronic or acute health conditions you may currently be experiencing.

The aim of the consultation process will be to identify the triggers and drivers of imbalance in the body, and using a combination of dietary, lifestyle, nutritional medicine and naturopathic interventions, restore the whole system to a state of health and wellness.

Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy uses a Functional Medicine approach. This is a systems based biological approach which focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of disease. Each symptom or differential diagnosis may be one of many contributing to an individual’s illness or state of imbalance.

Initial Consultations: £85 for 60 minutes, follow up sessions and number of sessions vary according to complexity and conditions supported. Functional Medicine and allergy testing available for all conditions where required, charged at laboratory costs plus 30 minute interpretation and follow up.
