The Swedish Massage Diploma course will enable successful graduates to join an approved professional body and obtain necessary professional insurance. You can then set up in practice as a sole trader, go into partnership with other therapists or work for a health clinic, gym, spa or other organisation. This qualification will also allow you access to further Massage Diploma courses at the Borders School of Massage and other Schools. Massage Therapy has an important role to play in health care. As more and more people realise this, the demand for good, competent and effective therapists is growing. It is an exciting time to be involved.

Moira M Watson is a qualified and practising Advanced Remedial Massage Therapist. She also holds qualifications in On-Site Massage, Indian Head Massage and CranioSacral Therapy. Her original profession, for over 25 years, was in Community Education and she specialised in Adult Learning, which gives her a great interest in and knowledge of the provision of good learning and educational opportunities for adults. Moira has worked as a practical tutor and Course Leader on other Scottish Massage Schools’ Swedish and Remedial and Sports Massage Diploma courses; and she is a tutor for the International Correspondence School.
