Liz McWatt has been a registered general nurse since 1986, working most recently in occupational health medicine. She became interested in complementary therapies, and particularly nutritional therapy as a result of a strong interest in preventing ill health and a belief that to recover from illness it is vital that the underlying cause is identified and treated. She is enthusiastic about using Nutritional Therapy not only to treat ill health, but to improve fitness, vitality and sports performance levels as well. Liz has studied aromatherapy, therapeutic massage, nutritional therapy, flower remedies, homeopathy and the use of complex homeopathic remedies and counselling. She has been practising in Kendal since 1996 and has recently started to see clients at The Cumbria Therapies Clinic in Carlisle Liz would be happy to give talks to groups on any of the therapies or conditions in which she is experienced. Registered with The British Association of Nutritional Therapy (BANT), Member International Federation of Aromatherapists (MIFA), both of whom demand a strict code of ethics, ongoing education and full indemnity insurance.
