About Cumbria Therapies

Cumbria Therapies was established by Marion and George Dunlop to provide integrated training for organisations; one-to-one therapies, coaching, relaxation and stress management services for individuals; and a place where like-minded therapists can meet for mutual support, the sharing of best practice and continuing professional development.

More recently with the expansion of the Centre in Carlisle, we have a growing, select team of experienced associate therapists using the facilities.  All are fully qualified in their chosen therapies, are fully insured, attend regular supervision and training updates and adhere to strict codes of conduct and ethics as laid down by their therapy professional bodies and also by the Nursing and Midwifery Council and Royal College of Nursing for those in the profession.

As part of the expansion a separate company, Esk Consulting Ltd was formed to provide extended services to local business and public sector organisations. Click Here for more information or go directly to the Esk Consulting web site.

By combining a health, education and training background along with expertise in personal development techniques, stress awareness, coaching, counselling, hypnotherapy, psychotherapy and various energy medicine therapies, the Centre therapists are able to offer an individually designed service for employers, employees and/or individuals both within the workplace or by private consultation at the Centre.

Our team now includes:
